Marathon Dairy week 5
Another successful week of consistent training under my belt this week.

We were down for breakfast at 5.30am. The bus came to collect us and take us to the airport at 6am. The first, short flight to Bahrain was very unpleasant. We were spread all over the plane and it was jam-packed full. It...

Thursday 29th July, arrival
Me, Mum & Dad
When we touched down in Barcelona, all of a sudden the nerves kicked in. I was there; it was going to happen. I was going to run in the European Championships marathon in less than 48 hours! It suddenly all felt very real and I was a little anxious...

Three weeks to go until the big day so here’s a quick update. After falling so ill four days before leaving Font Romeu, we made the decision, after consulting with experts and doctors, to remain at sea level for the next block of training to ensure my body made a full recovery. I was still...

My Font Romeu altitude training experience started on a real high and finished with a bit of a blow.
After a long day travelling with my coach and eventually finding our apartments in Font Romeu on Tuesday the 1st June, we made contact with Paula Radcliffe on our arrival...
